England wins the 1st T2o match against South Africa by 1 run in D/L method on Friday November 13 at Johannesburg. It was a fantastic match between England and South Africa at Johannesburg while England defeated South Africa by just one run. Superb batting from England led by skipper Collingwood(57) and Eoin Morgan(85*) made them to set a target of 203 runs for South Africa at 1st T20 match.
South Africa started their innings superbly, they scored 97 runs in just 9 overs with the help of brilliant batting from skipper Smith(41) and Bosman(58). But England turned the D/L equation into their favor after South Africa had been in the winning position an over before. It was England’s highest total in T20 match and Eoin Morgan’s 85 was the highest individual score by an England player in Twenty20 cricket.
